The HDC-1700 can be configured with the HDCU-1700 camera control unit (CCU), which is a 19-inch half-rack size portable CCU for fiber cable connection. The HDCU-1700 can control camera menu settings and display fibre condition on the front panel. It has an expansion slot for the four HD/SD SDI outputs board; and the option board slot is used for HKCU option cards to expand the CCUs output capability to include VBS out, PIX out, WFM out, and component video out.
Long-distance fibre transmission
The HDCU-1700 multi format HD Camera Control Unit (CCU) uses uncompressed (SMPTE fibre hybrid cable with LEMO connectors) and is capable of long-distance signal transmission up to 2,000 metres.
Menu operation accessible from front panel
The easy-to-access menu allows you to control the camera menu settings and display the fibre condition onthe CCU front panel for easy setup without having to open the CCU.
